The process of electrochemical polishing, also known as electropolishing, is similar to chemical polishing in that it can make surfaces smooth and bright by controlling selective dissolution. According to the principle of electrochemical tip discharge, the aluminum profile is immersed in the prepared electrolyte as the anode, and the corrosion-resistant material with good conductivity is immersed into the cathode.
In industrial production, the main purpose of chemical polishing or electrochemical polishing is to replace mechanical polishing to obtain a smooth and bright surface.
