In order to prevent corrosion, anodizing treatment or painting should be used for protection: the machinability is still good.
Uses It is mainly used for parts that work at 250-350 °C, such as bearings to compressor blades, discs, and plates for welding parts that work at room temperature and high temperature, such as containers, airtight warehouses, etc.
The 2024 aluminum rod is a typical hard aluminum alloy in the aluminum-copper-magnesium series. Its composition is relatively reasonable and its comprehensive performance is better. It is the largest amount of duralumin. 2024 aluminum bar belongs to high-strength hard aluminum, which can be strengthened by heat treatment.
